There's an article on Yahoo that proposes that the benefits of video games outweigh the negative. As the saying goes, all things in moderation. Kids (and adult gamers) need to get off the couch and get active from time to time. But, according to some research, there are many benefits to the oft-addictive past-time, from helping kids who have ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), to improving eyesight, and even losing weight?!?

Kids spend so much time with the games, they neglect to do much -- even eat!

I wish that the scientist would leave our food alone they have done a enough damage. Most of our food supply is not fit for man or animal to eat any more this is very sad.

The media has really messed with the minds of women young and old. Ladies how long are we going to believe the myth about being "skinny"? Stop believing this nonsense about how you should look because of what you see in magazines, movies, and television. In other wake up to reality. Those are only pictures that have been professionally touched up for eye appeal. Marketing is amazing, isn't it?

You can apply this theory to adults - when you're hungry, and you know you shouldn't be, engage in something that keeps you're mind off food for awhile!! For me it's art - I get engaged in some sort of project and pretty soon an hour has passed and I'm not even that hungry!! For someone else it could be the newspaper or a book, or maybe getting on the computer and reseaching something!! Or even reading about health and fitness - what a boost on my health plan!! (Notice I didn't say diet!!)
