With all the hype on how diet can improve cholesterol numbers, it’s nice to see exercise being attributed to this number. You can also lose weight in addition to raising your number! This is refreshing to read, since many put stress on diet control while exercise often gets but on the back burner.

Get in approximately two hours a week and this can raise your HDL (“good”) cholesterol, not to mention lower our risk for heart disease.
This approach will work great for people whose Total Cholesterol number is high, however, even if your total cholesterol number is within range, raising the HDL number can only benefit us in the long run.
