Michael Moore's new film 'Sicko' hits theaters this summer

Some love him, others love to hate him. Michael Moore has received both praise and criticism for his previous two films 'Bowling for Columbine' and 'Fahrenheit 9/11'. So who is his next target? The health care industry.

In his soon-to- be-released documentary, Moore chronicles real-life stories of this nation's health care system at its worse (or possibly its best?). Some of the stories have even brought viewers at the Cannes Film Festival to tears!

The topic of the film is also of great debate among presidential candidates; although, Republican or Democrat, I think we all agree that those seeking medical attention should never be denied, whether they can afford it, or not.

I'm curious...how you would rate America's health care industry?

I am very fearful that people are going to listen to these alleged "real life stories" as fact or the complete truth. There are always two sides to every story and Mr. Moore is known for his one sidedness and sensationalizing the worst.

Yes the healthcare industry in in dire need of some stabilization we all can agree to that.

Just know even though this is a documentary it is also classified as a comedy. All stories should be researched fully prior to making any comments.

This movie is made for the purpose of entertainment and contains some none factual and dramatized information for the purpose of getting a rise out of people.

Just remimber you have a mind along with vast resources to have an informned opinion.

I've seen an advanced viewing of this film and the some parts brought me to tears. It is pathetic that this is happening in America.

I think that the controversery that this movie brings is timely. After 31 years of RN life, I can tell you, there are some serious issues that are not simple to solve. Medicene in the US is a capitalist venture. Our insurances are on the stock market. I watched the mix of business and healthcare change over the years.....it is not a healthy mix for Americans anymore. We need to look at the issues and make decisions that will be incredibly difficult for the people and the economy of this country. There are two sides to this story. There are victims and there are those who abuse and use the system and its workers. For us who work ourselves to the bone, it is hard to think that the care we deliver is not available to some or that some would criticize what we do. This is an emotional subject, a subject put on the back burner so long that it is now in flames. It is sad that we spend millions on the war daily.......it just makes our decisons for the future more painful and the system more weighted.
