In many parts of the world
insects are part of the everyday diet. In fact, some consider the crawly critters to be a delicacy. True, in the United States, this is not the popular philosophy, but there are some that are asking the question, "Why not?" Louis Sorkin, a senior member of the New York’s Natural History Museum’s division of invertebrate zoology, is one whom believes that many are missing out on a delicious, nutritious and cheap food source. Be on the lookout because restaurants are popping up that intentionally put such critters on the menu for consumption.
