Wow! Researchers have found a way to remove the fat from one part of your body and place it somewhere else. Well for now it is only in mice, but there is hope that someday humans will be able to partake in this miraculous discovery.

Sound like heaven? Well it's not. The new research indicates that the naturally produced chemical messenger called neuropeptideY, or NPY, is long linked with appetite, weight gain and obesity. The NPY helps make some body fat more dangerous than others; therefore, being able to manipulate NPY allows us to control where on our body to disperse the fat. For plastic surgeons everywhere, this is a potential tool for them to increase areas that their clients may want to enhance and remove areas that are less desirable, all with the same material.

You don't need a crystal ball to see people lining up for this one! But let's not all rush to our the plastic surgeon's office just yet. This study is still in its early stages, so for now you'll have to rely on good old healthy eating and exercise.
