FitFlop is the new casual, active wear shoe causing quite a stir on both sides of the pond. The British-based company hasn’t been able to keep the shoes on the shelf, here in the United States or overseas, for long. Marcia Kilgore, founder of Brandhandling, the company behind the new “muscle building” shoe, explains the biomechanic design, “FitFlops are designed to increase duration and intensity of muscle activity by destabilizing the foot as the wearer walks in them.” There are some experts in the field are skeptical of FitFlop's ability to perform and firm muscle. However, one thing is clear...smart marketing has put Kilgore and her company at the top of their game, but will the FitFlops put you at the top of yours?

I would love to hear personal experiences with the new shoe. Has anyone tried FitFlops yet?
