Remember that movie Minority Report, where the future could be seen and murders could be prevented? Well, this is the same concept (almost) but in relation to your health.

Now with a simple blood test scientists can do a mapping of your DNA and look for different flaws that often promote eight treatable conditions which are also some of the most common killers in the US. This test can tell you if you are at risk for these conditions way before you get any symptoms, gain a lot of weight or become sedentary. Amongst the conditions are skin, lung and colon cancer, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes and osteoporosis.

Even if you are very healthy, exercise and eat well, you may want to know what you can prevent before it happens.
