Is Football Season Ruining Your Diet?

It's football season (!!!) and we are excited about our favorite teams. We are looking forward to meeting our friends and watching the big game at our local bar or pub, but this might just spell disaster if you are watching your diet. It can get tricky if you are at your local pub, especially with the beers, pizza, nachos and let's not forget the chicken wings. Anyone getting hungry? If you are watching the game at home, you are better able to have healthy options around to choose from. You can have popcorn, low fat, baked chips, a vegetable tray with low fat dips, and even some cut up fruit with fat free whipped topping.
Remember, moderation is the key! I would also suggest a healthy breakfast and/or lunch before heading out to see the game as well as fitting in some much needed gym time that day to balance out those extra, unwanted calories.
Go Steelers! Cheers!
