The number of over-the-counter remedies for yeast infection is increasing. However, according to Dr. Susan Hoffstetter, the co-director of the SLUCare Vulvar and Vaginal Disease Clinic at Saint Louis University, “using such medications repeatedly may cause harm.”

I agree that most women resort to these treatments because they are quick and you don't have to visit a doctor's office. But be aware that other factors such as inflammation or even sexually transmitted infections can sometimes be worsened by these products. So, when in doubt see your doctor!

“We are all measured by inches, ages, numbers and all the outside things that don’t add up to who we are on the inside. So let your weight loss journey be one of self-acceptance every step of the way. If you are unhappy with yourself fifty pounds heavier you’ll probably feel the same way when you lose the weight. Happiness is not embedded in outward appearances.”
