It's happened to most of us at one time or another. You go back to the gym after some time away or you've decided to finally start exercising...and you overdo it.The next day, you can't walk, you can't sit, you can't move! You begin to curse the day you ever decided to exercise and you don't go back to the gym...at least not for a while. Then you're right back where you started.
Although it comes with the greatest intentions, one of the most common mistakes people make is to push themselves too hard that first time back. Not only can this lead to soreness, but it can also cause injury, delaying your fitness goals further.
