Getting cancer screenings is the best way to detect if you are at risk for this disease and get the proper treatment.
When I turned 40 last year, the first thing I did was get my mammogram and I was happy I did. The results showed an irregularity, but with further testing, everything came out negative.
Getting a test for ovarian cancer is a good one to get too since one can have the disease without even knowing it. At your next annual, ask your doctor to see if all is in order.
Check out the list of tests that we should be aware of for our next check-up, and you'll be happy you did!
