I have to two Boston Terriers, so when I came across this article about dog blood transfusions, it definitely got me thinking.

Dogs get into accidents just as humans do, if not even more so. They get hit by cars, bit by other dogs and a blood transfusion could be necessary.

Unless you've had an emergency with your dog, have you ever thought about blood transfusions? I certainly didn't. For my kids, yes, but not for my dogs. That is until now.

If you donate your dog's blood, there is even an option to store it for future use. This is great!
