For the first time in a very long time, there is great concern amongst physicians, nutritionists and health care professionals that our lazy society will reverse life expectancy trends.

Our kids are spending way too much time on the couch watching TV and playing video games instead of getting on their feet, out of the door and exercising. This, combined with “super sized” fast food portions and general poor eating habits, are causing great concern that our long trend of increasing life expectancy might soon take a turn for the worse.

Obesity, diabetes and heart disease will get the best of us if we don’t take our life and health seriously. So, watch what you eat! Watch what your kids eat. And take advantage of the milder weather to get out and exercise!
