You answered yes to question 2:

2. Are you always reaching for food between meals or snacking right after a meal?

You might be a Serial Snacker. Serial snackers constantly snack between meals, adding extra calories to their diets. They often snack so much that they lose track of your calories! Chips, candy bars and soda are some common culprits. If you're a Serial Snacker, here's what you can do:

-- Keep a food journal. Tracking what you eat can show you your calorie intake and help you make appropriate changes. Plus, it'll remind you of forgotten calories (like that handful of M&M's at lunch).

-- Bring snacks from home instead of heading to the office vending machine. Nuts, fruits and non-fat yogurt are portable, tasty and healthy.

-- Keep yourself busy. Boredom is a trigger for snacking. The busier you are, the less likely you'll start thinking about food. Immerse yourself in your family, hobbies or work.

-- Eat slowly. Slow down when you chew to make your meal last longer. You'll feel more satisfied at the end, which will keep you from snacking.
