Thanks for all of your wonderful tips,
What does a person do that is allergic to all nuts. This is a problem for a lot of us. Nuts are such a big part of what is recommended for snacks, etc. Please advise or comment about this in one of your articles.
Thank You,

I want to start a diet but most of them use high fiber foods as fillers. I have digestive problems and have been told by my doctor to avoid high fiber foods. I am also lactose intolerant. Any suggestions?

Hi,
I read most of your articles on fitness which are very good. However, having said that for people aged 55 like me, who have done competitive sports (tennis) for years but stopped about 15 years ago, I have yet to find one fitness trainer who suggests swimming (the overall exercise winner for all ages in my opinion)since it has cardio exercise and resistance training all in one and doesn't hurt your joints. In fact swimming is good for your bones, your flexibility, breathing and oxygen intake, and yes even resistance (with or without water weights). If any middle-aged or elderly person doesn't have weights, just lay back in the water and kick your feet and that will give you great abs.
Thanks for listening!
Christine

Ok...so I'm 27yrs old 5'6 ft. tall - mother of a 9yr old and a 2 yr old. I use to be very but very skinny...which is why I think I was able to loose everything with my first child. But know it's a little bit harder. I gained alot...now I do go to the gym 2x now....and I just do a bootcamp class. And well I lost alot...and I'm now 150lbs.... BUT I've been stuck....nothing has been happening since then! My trainer said it had to do with my intake of food...but it's really hard. I'm Mexican and well you know what we eat....how can I make my Mexican Food more healthy...or healthy intake??? My love handles..are still there...you can notice them when I'm standing only when I sit. Also my legs..thighs..are a little big to..how can I reduce them....??? Pleaseeee HELP>>> I tried doing the ediets...but it's hard cause we dont cook what they suggest...again..were into beans, tortillas, meet, rice, guacamole..chile rellenos, ..and all the good stuff...

I am a member of ediets (per my doctor) to help me lose weight.
He says I need to lose 30 lbs.
I weigh 175. One of my biggest problems are my breast. If I do the workouts suggested for abs, butt, and thighs and cardo and back...will it reduce my breast size? I am sooo desperate
Thank you for all your help.
Pamela

Hi Raphael,
Do you know which type of flooring is best for doing aerobics on? I have laminate flooring with an elliptical machine sitting on a piece of left over carpet on top of the laminate.I see there are all types of gym flooring out there, even wood tiles so wouldn't that suggest that laminate would be ok?? Please advise as I want to get my exercise room going.
Thank you for all your great articles! Jodi.

Raphael,
I am 40yrs old and 5'4. I work out 5 days a week and burn about 600-700 calories and I also do my weight training by doing upper body one day and lower body the next day. I eat very healthy but I find that I am not losing the weight. I weigh 165 lbs and I don't understand why the weight is not coming off? I have been going to the gym since January and I thought that I would be able to lose some weight? The only thing that I find is that my clothes fit better.
regards
Nina

I am a 23 year old mother of two. About 2 years ago I joined weight watchers and lost about 92 lbs. I have slowly started to gain a little of the weight back and have been having a lot of trouble. I also recently found out that I am hypothyroid. Which of the ediets would you suggest me to go on to help my thyroid issue?
Thank you!

I had the lap band surgery last September. I have only lost to date 19 lbs. I am having difficulty getting in the protein I need (40-60g). If I eat more than I usually do I gain, then miss meals to get back to where I was. Can you give me an idea of how to plan 3 meals a day to include protein

I am diabetic. Would your diet be ok for me to eat? I don't have any allergies to nuts. Can also drink milk.

thanks for asking about the meal plans. If you are diabetic, our Living with Diabetes, would be a good choice. It balances good carbs, with protein and healthy fats. In addition, times out meals/snacks so you have better stability in regards to your blood sugars. Email us at nutrition@ediets.com and we can help you further in person. Look forward to chatting!
