She did it by setting a series of small goals.

Donna didn't set out to lose 100 pounds, in fact, it never even entered her mind! Her first goal was simple: In celebration of her 40th birthday she was taking a vacation to IndoChina, which happened to come with a very lengthy plane trip. Goal #1 was simply to fit comfortably in the seat, and not need a seatbelt extender by the time she left for her trip. She had 8 months. Donna was ready to get down to business!

After that? Donna set her sights on getting to what we affectionately call "ONEderland," or getting below 200 pounds. Donna joined up with us here at eDiets right around that time, and set what she calls a "stake in the ground" at 199 pounds. She declared never to go above 199 pounds again. Onederland was going to be part of the rest of her life. She chose eDiets because of the wide variety of meal plans to choose from, she knew she could find something that would fit with her lifestyle, she chose to follow our most popular, the eDiets Weight Loss plan.

Today at 165 pounds, Donna has lost over 100 pounds, reeled in her spiraling health, and transformed into an athlete beyond her wildest expectations. Donna has completed numerous triathlons of varying distances, 5k's, 10k's, half marathons, marathons, and her most recent achievement IronMan Canada!

I just turned 40 myself, and I am currently 230 lbs (have lost 18 so far). Seeing your success and commitment has really inspired me to continue and work toward my goals.

Thank you for sharing your story! You will help many more people than you can imagine.
