I like a playlist with a little edge to get me through my workout, which generally lasts about 80-90 minutes/day depending on what I’m doing. I like hard stuff for heavy lifting, and fast, pop-y or electronic stuff to push me through the cardio. I like to be inspired to work hard and keep pushing even if I’m feeling a little low, because I know it pays off later and later I’ll feel better for it. A lot of the stuff in the list below will work for me whether I’m lifting or running or on the elliptical.
