College Students Who Sleep Get Better Grades!
Like the post? Add Your Comments | Digg This Post! |When students stay up all night, their thought process can be hindered due to caffeine and sleep deprivation, and when they take their exam they do not do that well.
The key is getting adequate sleep. Students who are rested are better able to retain the information and will see the positive results in their work.
We addressed how sleep is so important for kids, new moms, etc., but the student population in college is also a demographic that needs to be addressed. Since they are working toward their degrees and ultimately their careers, having good time management skills will only help them succeed...and this has to include a decent night's sleep.

Kids and Sleep Equal a Healthier Life!

Studies are now showing that less than an extra hour of sleep each night can actually make kids thinner in life and more alert. To me, this theory makes great sense. When my kids don't get enough sleep, especially during the summer months or when school is out, their normal energetic demeanor changes and they are just somewhat lazy all day.I love the fact that I finally saw this in writing! More now than ever, I am working to get my act together and strive to have my kids get sufficient hours of sleep. Like any parent, I want them to have a healthy and positive life.
Establishing a regimented sleep routine can benefit the whole family; a routine helps make for a happy, well-rested family.

Sleep. It's Not Just for Beauty Anymore!

According to a recent study, people who don't get enough sleep (less than 5 hours) have a higher risk of not only developing heart disease, but dying from it.There's so many reasons for our lack of sleep as a society. Work, school, and even how we “relax” can take away from precious sleep time.
Now, I do my best to get my beauty sleep every night, but I'm not always successful. I guess I'll have to try a little harder now that I know it's not just about looks! Sleep tight!
