When you’re in a fix and need to look fabulous fast, how do you make do?

Do you head for the nearest salon and spend a fortune on a fancy schmancy hairdo? Or do you struggle to achieve lovely locks all by your lonesome, often failing miserably? Regardless, you’re about to get a lesson in how to get the best-dressed tresses for less. And it won’t require a course at the local cosmetology school.

Here are a few tips and tricks for looking great and feeling fabulous for next to nothing! That’s right, you don’t have to go digging into your piggy bank to look like a million dollars. Amazingly, some of my most effective beauty tricks can be achieved by using everyday products found around the house.

Today’s five quick dos are no different. Plucked from the pages of my book, Bargain Beauty Secrets, they’ll help you look like you just stepped out of the salon… and they’ll work their magic in a matter of minutes.

1. Enjoy a quick shine by gently stroking shampooed hair with an ice cube. The cold seals the hair shaft so it reflects light!

2. Create trendy dreads by dividing your hair into one-inch sections and coating each section with styling wax. Twist hair tightly around your finger. Repeat until your entire head is complete.

3. Fake an up ‘do by using a ponytail holder that looks like braided hair. Pull hair back into a low ponytail and twist into a bun. Secure with an elastic ban and cover with holder.

4. Use a small amount of shaving cream as emergency hair mousse.

5. Did you apply too much gel, spray or mousse? Remove excess product by blotting a witch hazel-soaked cotton ball over the product to break it down.

All this beautifying leave you with no time for cooking? No problem! eDiets Meal Delivery is a great plan that delivers freshly prepared, healthy food to your door! Click to learn more…

I’ve tried the “shaving cream as hair mousse” trick-worked really well! And as for “trendy dreadlocks”, they just make white people look ridiculous! I work for a law enforcement agency, and the mug shots of people who’ve been arrested practically scream HOMELESS AND/OR UNEMPLOYED!
