Enjoy the taste and ease of outdoor cooking with this healthy and delicious steak kabob!
Steak Kabob
Ingredients:
3 oz. steak
½ medium red bell pepper
½ medium green bell pepper
½ whole mango
1 medium yellow onion
Instructions:
To prevent burning, soak a set of wooden skewers in cold water for 30 minutes. Cut the steak, onion, red and green bell pepper, and mango into similarly sized pieces.
Alternately place the steak, fruit and vegetables on the skewers.
Preheat the grill to medium heat. Grill the kabobs on each side for 6-7 minutes until done.
Lettuce and Tomato Salad
Ingredients:
1 cup romaine lettuce
½ red tomato
1 tbsp. Italian Salad Dressing
Instructions:
While the kabobs are on the grill, start making the salad. Wash and dry the lettuce, placing on a plate. Wash and cut the tomato into quarters, add to the salad and drizzle on the dressing.
Once kabob is cooked to liking, place kabob on plate with salad and enjoy.
