Chai Iced Tea


Tired of the same old tea? Try this delicious Chai Iced Tea for a fresh way to quench your thirst!

Ingredients:
1 ½ cups water
2 tea bags, black
1 tsp. cardamom
¼ cup evaporated nonfat milk
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Instructions:
Bring the water to a boil, and then let tea bags steep with cardamom for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and let cool. Put crushed ice in a glass and add tea. Add sugar, cinnamon and milk to glass; stir to combine. Enjoy!

    I had Chai Ice Tea in my favorite Thai Restaurant in the Bronx NY, It was reccommended by a patron and it was the best thing I ever had as far as Ice Tea is concerned, I just can't wait to try this recipe

    to save calories and make this a diabetic friendly drink, I use Splenda instead of sugar. A bit of ginger not only adds a delightful "Kick" in terms of flavor, but also benefits the digestive system! DEE-LISH! :)
