Sweet Passover Drops


Try this great recipe for a sweet little treat on Passover or any other day you want a fun, tasty snack.

Ingredients:
1/4 c chopped dates
1.5 Tbsp raisins
2.5 tsp kosher red wine
1 Tbsp coarsely chopped walnuts
3 tsp confectioners’ sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon

Instructions:
Place the chopped dates and raisins in a small saucepan with wine. Cook on low heat and stir occasionally; fruit will thicken to a paste. Allow to cool. Add nuts and cinnamon to cooled fruit and mold into bite sized balls. Sprinkle with sugar. Serve.

    The picture looks like flour is added to make the dough. I don’t see flour listed in the ingredients.

    These are super – they don’t look like the picture (which I agree makes them look like they include flour, which they don’t). I recommend chopping the walnuts a little finer than coarsely chopped.
