    A great exercise… particularly for an older person. It is weight friendly – you can feel the positive aspects of the movement even if you are not initially able to fully squat to level.

    The key seemed to be: keeping your back straight. That alone will define the exercise and as you become more flexible will allow a deeper squat.

    Hernandezl – Any type of abductor exercise or close stance squat. Abductor machine, fitness band abductor exercise so the leg extends out to the side, and close stance squats tend to impact the area as well to some degree.
